Massage

Comprehensive professional massage for relaxation, stress reduction, injury prevention, injury treatment, and maintenance of optimal health.
All sessions are accustomed to your individual needs and therefore relevant to you at all ages and your current level of activity at work or play, irrespective of the sport, activity or day-to-day living. Receiving a massage on a regular basis can help with injury prevention, aid in increasing joint flexibility and reduce pain and inflammation from overuse during physical activity. Massage can help speed up recovery following injury, whether the injury is from sport or any other activity and encourages complete healing with any injury where the skin is intact, including strains, sprains, back pain and adhesions left after injury.

Sports Massage
Often a deep form of soft tissue work, where a variety of techniques are employed to address your specific needs.
Remedial Massage
This is a form of massage that treats problem areas such as muscle tension and restriction in movement, therefore helping the body to return to normal health after injury.

Swedish Massage
Uses classic massage techniques to manipulate soft tissue for relaxation, invigoration and holistic therapeutic purposes and forms the foundation of many massage practices.

Reflexology

Ideal for the whole family at every stage of life for relaxation or to addresses specific concerns.
Reflexology is a safe, non-invasive, gentle, and effective complementary therapy and is the practice of treating areas (reflex points) in the feet and hands that relate to corresponding parts of the body.
It works by helping to normalise the body’s processes, thus restoring balance, and promoting healing and wellbeing. Pressure is applied to the feet and lower legs or hands; therefore an easy treatment to receive by anyone.
Each reflexology session serves to both assess and treat the whole body and benefits can include stress reduction, improved circulation, supporting the elimination of toxins, and feeling revitalised and energised.

Scar Tissue Therapy

A very gentle and specialised manual treatment to help manage clients with scar tissue, fibrosis, adhesions and changes in tissue health following injury.
Your body is constantly renewing cells, so even old scar tissue can respond to stimulation with Scar Work Therapy.
The intention of scar treatment is to improve the mobility of the scar, fascia and underlying tissue, encouraging scar tissue to integrate and disperse within the healthy surrounding tissue.
Treatment aids in the dispersion of hardened, fibrotic tissue following trauma, including radiotherapy, and is often followed by a short period of rapid improvement to the scar, which are usually lasting.
Not all clients will have a visual change, but usually the scar will feel softer, smoother and looser after treatment.
